3D perception is proud to announce that CompactUTM number 700 has been scheduled for delivery to a customer site. A remarkable feat considering unit number 1 was only delivered at the end of 2001.
"The CompactUTM has rapidly become the most popular product for warping and edge-blending on the market. Over the years a lot of additional functionalities have been added to the CompactUTM including Hot spot compensation, internal test pattern generator and black level enhancement. The latest enhancement is a total automatic alignment function which interfaces to 3D perception¡¯ own innovative CompactClick screen. A CompactClick screen comprises of a number of segments each with its own built-in sensors for warping, edge blending and colour management. The fact that the CompactUTM can work with any type of projector and digital source has made it the preferred product for seamless multi-projector installations" says Olav Sandnes, 3D perception' Sales Director.
